Garment and Yarn Care

Hand knitted pieces and hand dyed yarns should always be treated with tender loving care. They don’t need to be washed often. If washing is absolutely necessary, gently immerse your garment in lukewarm water with a dash of wool-friendly detergent and soak for 5-10 minutes. Gently squeeze and excess water out (do not wring) and leave to dry flat on a towel. Never machine wash or tumble dry.

Although great care is taken to rinse hand dyed yarns thoroughly before sending them out, due to the nature of hand dyeing small amounts of dye may still rinse off the yarn when washed.
